About Luminary Augmenters

Operators who've built what you're building

We're Carson and Brandon, founders who've navigated the messy middle of growth ourselves. Luminary Augmenters is the fractional COO partner we wish we'd had.

Our Story

Why We Built
Luminary Augmenters

We knew what the FAA manual said.
But we also knew what the FAA inspector actually asked.

We spent years running flight schools and building operational systems for hundreds of others. Along the way, we watched too many good operators fail, not because they lacked ambition, but because they lacked the right partner.

The advisors they hired were smart, but they'd never sat in the operator's chair. They handed over strategy documents and disappeared before the real work began. The playbooks looked great on paper. They fell apart in Week 3.

We built Luminary Augmenters because we wanted to be the partner we wish we'd had, the one who's actually done it, still doing it, and willing to roll up sleeves alongside you until it works.

We're not consultants. We're operators. And we're in it with you.

Our Philosophy

How We Work Differently

We're Operators First

We've built businesses, managed teams, navigated regulations, and solved the problems you're facing. We don't theorize. We implement what we know works.

We Own Outcomes

Consultants deliver recommendations. We deliver results. If it doesn't work, we haven't finished the job.

We Embed, Don't Extract

We become part of your team as fractional COOs, working alongside you until the job is done.

We Value Authenticity

No consultant-speak. No inflated promises. Just honest conversation about what's possible and what it takes to get there.

We Focus on Implementation

Strategy without execution is worthless. We build it, implement it, train your team, and make sure it actually works.

We've Actually Done What You're Trying to Do

Brandon Martini

Co-Founder — Aviation Operator

Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Stratus Financial, one of the nation's leading aviation finance companies (Inc 5000 #113, NBAA 40 Under 40). Brandon founded NextGen Flight Academy and personally completed Part 141 FAA certification twice, as the operator navigating every regulatory requirement firsthand, not as a consultant reading Advisory Circulars. He knows the difference between what the FAA manual says and what actually works when an inspector walks through your door.

Operators, Not Consultants

Combined Experience

Together at Stratus Financial, we've spent years supporting hundreds of flight schools nationwide, building the systems, navigating the FAA, and watching what separates the schools that scale from the ones that stall. Luminary Augmenters is where we systematize that experience into a proven fractional COO model, built specifically for flight schools ready to grow.

Why Part 141 Certification Matters

Unlock Premium Opportunities for Your Flight School

Access VA-Funded Veteran Students

The largest benefit: eligible veterans can use their VA education benefits at your school. This opens a significant revenue stream many Part 61 schools miss.

Premium Pricing Power

Part 141 schools can charge 15-20% more per flight hour. Parents and serious students prefer FAA-certified structured training programs.

University Partnerships

Most university aviation programs require Part 141 certification for their training partners.

Competitive Advantage

"FAA-Certificated Pilot School" differentiates you in your market as the serious, professional choice.

Operational Efficiency

Structured training with stage checks reduces repeat lessons and improves student outcomes.

Business Value

Part 141 certification significantly increases your school's valuation for future sale.

VA approval is separate from Part 141 certification and requires additional steps.
